A Prayer for My Child at School

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”James 1:5 · KJV

Father, go with my child into school today. When the work feels hard, help them persevere. When they do not understand, give them clarity. When they are tempted to give up, remind them they are capable — because you give wisdom generously to all who ask. Bless their teachers with patience, and give my child a teachable spirit and a quiet confidence. May today be one more small step in who they are becoming. Amen.
